Explore working together

Let’s get to know each other.

First off, a bit about me.

I’m Lauren Turner Dolan, a life coach with a clinical background based in Placitas, New Mexico.

With over ten years of experience as therapist, I’m passionate about helping women find their way back to themselves during the inevitably demanding seasons of life.

Both personally and professionally, I’ve found that making space for consistent one-on-one sessions can allow you to:

  • Reconnect with the version of yourself that’s been pushed aside.

  • Reset a tired, overworked nervous system.

  • Have a dedicated space where you’re met with curiosity, compassion, and understanding.

Who do I usually work with?

I typically work with women who:

  • Are often seen as the responsible, capable, and reliable one.

  • Who are used to pushing through and accommodating others.

  • Who typically keep moving even when they’re exhausted.

  • Who can silently feel stretched too thin, disconnected, overwhelmed, and resentful.

You don’t have to have a big reason to reach out — sometimes, wanting to feel more like yourself and live less on autopilot is reason enough.

Here’s how we can work together

  • Individual Sessions

Curious, compassionate, one-on-one sessions where we work together to move towards your goals. Leave sessions lighter, more hopeful, and more clear.

  • Virtual

Get the support you need from wherever you are. Grab a cozy chair, a notebook, and log on.

  • Practice

Together, we practice a different way of relating - one using a powerful combination of IFS, Mindfulness, and Self Compassion. One that you can carry inside of yourself always.

I specialize in:

  • When the pace and noise of life has gotten harder and harder to handle. Sleep isn’t coming easy anymore. And overthinking has become default.

  • When taking care of everyone and everything has left you exhausted, checked out, and unsure of what you need.

  • When you’ve worked so hard to meet expectations other people have, while losing track of what you ultimately want and need.

  • Humans (big and small) rely on you heavily to care for them and it’s nearly impossible to get a consistent break without feeling guilty or worried about what might happen if you ask for help.

  • When becoming a mom leads to feeling lost, unsure, and like you don’t know who you are anymore.

  • That relentless inner voice questioning your worth, your decisions, or whether you’re “doing enough.”

  • When you’ve been productive and responsible for decades, but are now starting to wonder if your priorities are starting to shift.

Frequently asked questions

  • The first step is to schedule a free 25 minute call. This gives us a chance to get to know each other and we can decide if it feels like the right fit.

If you have questions before scheduling a call, feel free to check out my full listing on Vibly for more info and where you can message me directly.

  • You don’t. We’ll check in together to see what feels useful and sustainable.

  • Therapy is the best fit for processing trauma, making sense of past experiences, and healing anxiety and depression. If you’re experiencing significant distress (like anxiety, depression, or trauma) you likely want to see an experienced therapist.

Coaching is an ideal fit for clarifying a vision for your life, making a plan to get there, building skills along the way, and working with invisible resistance to personal growth. If you’ve already done some personal healing, feel functional but stuck, need direction, accountability, and support to boost your clarity and confidence, coaching is likely a great fit.

  • Currently, I offer coaching only.

If you are looking for a therapist and need help finding one, please feel free to reach out and I will do my best to send several listings.

Let’s talk and see if coaching might be a good next step.
